On May 5 2021 at 22:24 UTC, Starship SN15 was the fifth fully assembled Starship to be launched.
Powered by three (3) Raptor engines, RSN 54, 61 and 66, SN15 was a new iteration with numerous improvements compared to its predecessors . It successfully launched in a overcast weather all the way up to 10km (33,000 ft). It softly landed after 5min 59secs of flight.
This model is the cutaway version of the original 1:50 scale 3D printed replica of SN15. It has been designed using hundreds of pictures and videos from @Bocachicagal, @RGVaerialphotos, @StarshipGazer and countless other photographers.
It is a complex project and it is recommended that you have experience with 3D printing.
The 153 parts, composing the model, require a little over 600hrs of print time.
Your printer requiers a minimum bed volume of 200x200x200mm.
You will need about 3kg of silver PLA and some white, black, olive green and yellow PLA (less than a 1kg each).
Some detailed instructions are provided to help you with printing and assembling the ship (108 pages).
